How do I start a new round?
From the Home screen, tap Start a New Round. You can scan your course's physical scorecard with your camera, or enter the course name manually. Select your hole count (9 or 18), choose your tees, and tap Start Round.
How does the scorecard scanner work?
Tap Scan Scorecard and point your camera at the physical scorecard from your course. Greensheet uses Apple's Vision framework to read the hole numbers and pars automatically. Always review and confirm the detected information before starting your round.
How do I use Greensheet on my Apple Watch?
Make sure the Greensheet Watch app is installed on your Apple Watch. When you start a round on your iPhone, the Watch app receives your round details automatically. You can then log strokes, putts, FIR, and GIR directly from your wrist. Scores sync back to your iPhone in real time.
What do FIR and GIR mean?
FIR (Fairway in Regulation) — your tee shot landed on the fairway. Not applicable for par 3s.
GIR (Green in Regulation) — your ball reached the green in the regulation number of strokes (par minus 2). For example, reaching a par 4 green in 2 shots or fewer.
Where are my rounds saved?
All rounds are saved securely to your Greensheet account. You can view your complete round history by tapping the Profile tab. Tap any round to see the full hole-by-hole breakdown.
Can I play with friends?
Yes — when starting a new round you can invite friends to join. Everyone's scores update in real time during the round. Make sure your friends have the Greensheet app installed and an account created.
How do I reset my password?
On the Sign In screen, tap Forgot password? Enter your email address and we'll send you a password reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
Is Greensheet free?
Yes — Greensheet is completely free to download and use. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no hidden fees. Score your round. Nothing extra.
How do I delete my account?
To request account deletion, email us at sparkeymedia@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete My Account" and your registered email address. We'll process your request within 48 hours.
Tips for best results
Scanning scorecards
Use good lighting and keep the card flat and fully in frame. Avoid glare from laminated cards. Always review detected holes before starting.
Apple Watch setup
Keep your iPhone nearby when playing for best sync. Start your round on the iPhone first — the Watch app activates automatically.
Saving rounds
Make sure you have a network connection when saving. Tap Save Round on the summary screen — you'll see a green "Saved!" confirmation when complete.
During your round
You can navigate between holes freely using the prev/next buttons. Use Finish Round at any time — you don't have to complete all 18 holes to save.
